Plan terms
These are the key terms of every WarrantyBee plan, in plain English. Your plan document — sent before you pay — is the complete and definitive version.
What your plan is
A WarrantyBee plan is a vehicle service contract between you and WarrantyBee Ltd. We agree to repair or replace the covered parts of your vehicle if they suffer mechanical or electrical failure during the plan period. It is not an insurance policy and does not replace your motor insurance.
Eligibility
Plans are available for cars, vans and motorcycles registered in the UK that are under 12 years old with fewer than 120,000 recorded miles when the plan starts. Vehicles used for hire and reward, courier work, driving tuition or competition are not eligible.
When cover starts
Cover begins 30 days and 500 miles after your start date, whichever comes later. This waiting period exists so that cover starts from a known-good baseline and keeps prices honest for everyone.
What's covered
The parts listed for your chosen plan — Essential, Plus or Complete — as set out in your plan document and on our plans page. The plan document you receive before payment is the definitive version.
What's never covered
Parts designed to wear out (brake pads, discs, tyres, bulbs, wiper blades, filters and fluids), accident or cosmetic damage, faults that existed before cover started, and damage caused by neglect, modification or motorsport.
Your responsibilities
Keep the vehicle serviced broadly in line with the manufacturer's schedule at any VAT-registered garage and keep the receipts. When something goes wrong, contact us before any repair work begins — repairs are carried out by approved garages in the WarrantyBee network.
Claims
Claims start with a call to our claims line before any work begins. We book the repair with a vetted garage from our network, authorise the work and pay the garage directly, up to your plan's claim limit per claim, with no limit on the number of claims. Labour is covered up to £75 per hour at our network's agreed rates. Repairs carried out without our authorisation or outside the network aren't covered.
Cancellation
Cancel within 30 days for a full refund, provided you haven't made a claim. After 30 days, monthly plans end at the next payment date and annual plans are refunded pro rata. We may cancel a plan only for non-payment or fraud, never for claiming.
Complaints
Complaints go to a senior handler and receive a full response within 14 days. If you're not satisfied with the outcome, the final stage of our process is handled by an independent dispute resolution service at no cost to you.
